Responsibility for Mental Health

Presumably she meant mental illness is not a personal failing. But maybe people should be considered responsible for some sorts of mental unhealthiness. Rejecting responsibility for one's shortcomings might interfere with overcoming them.

There's a big move afoot at the National Institute of Mental Health now to try to understand abnormal behavior in terms of underlying neural circuits... and genetics.
